The OnePlus 11 has gone on sale
in China a month before it makes its international debut, following a series of
leaks and teasers. This time, all we have is the plain vanilla OnePlus 11, but
it has all the most cutting-edge technology and design features.
Display Configuration
The main camera is shaped like a
stove, just as the leaks had indicated, but this time it is mounted on a
gleaming circular island with the Hasselblad emblem.
The display is a 6.7-inch,
curved, 2K LTPO 3.0 AMOLED panel. To save battery, the 120Hz refresh rate can
be reduced to 1Hz. Underneath the display is where the fingerprint
reader is positioned.
Storage and Processor
This 2023 flagship gadget is
powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, combined with 256 GB or 512 GB of
UFS 4.0 memory and 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Unlike some of its previous
phones, OnePlus won't place restrictions on the processor's performance. Today,
it is not shocking to see a high-end tablet without a memory card adapter.
Oxygen OS will still be the
operating system for phones sold outside of China because it is a Chinese
launch and Color OS 13 is built on top of Android 13.
Camera Department
Since Oppo and the company
announced cooperation last month, the main camera configuration is directly
copied from Oppo's foldable Find N2. The cameras in question have a 50MP
primary sensor from Sony with PDAF and OIS and a 48MP ultrawide sensor from
Sony with autofocus that also functions as a macro camera. A 32MP Sony IMX709
2x telephoto lens is also available.
A 16MP wide-angle selfie camera
is housed in the corner punch-hole cutout.
OnePlus 11 Battery and Prices
Unexpectedly for a premium phone,
there is no support for wireless charging, but at least there is 100W cable
charging in addition to the 5,000 mAh capacity bank.
The cost of the phone is also
unexpectedly low, starting at around $580 in China, but it is anticipated to be
more expensive on the international market.
