According to a new report from
the dependable Digital Chat Station, Realme's upcoming GT Neo 5 may shortly
overtake Redmi as the fastest wired charger. There will be two versions of this
phone, one of which has a 4,600 mAh battery and massive 240W charging
capabilities.
A version of the Realme GT Neo 5
with something like a 5,000 mAh battery with "only 150W charging
support" will also be offered. A 4,500 mAh battery which might charge from
0% to 100% in about 9 minutes was used by Oppo as a demonstration of the 240W
charging technology.
That's because the battery is
only somewhat more prominent and the innovation has already had time to advance, this
is what we will observe on the GT Neo 5 as well.
Given that the same task is
currently completed by Apple and Google flagship phones in roughly two hours,
even a 10-minute turnaround time is nothing short of astounding.

According to Oppo, its 150W
system can be charged 1,600 times before the battery's health is reduced to
80%. This has a lifespan that is twice as long as a typical battery. It's
notable that Realme's 150W technology, demonstrated in the GT Neo 3, has a
significantly lower promise of 1,000 charge cycles before it dips below 80%
despite being a subsidiary of Oppo (though it is still its own entity).
This is still commendable, and the price difference between both brands is probably to blame.
