With the release of a special 30th Anniversary Edition
notebook, Lenovo is commemorating 30 years of its well-liked ThinkPad laptop
lineup. The limited edition will only be produced in 5,000 copies worldwide.
The carbon fiber lid and classic RGB ThinkPad 3 logo help the limited edition stand out from the competition. It also offers unique green and blue repair caps for the red Trackpoint that is typically used.
The retail box for the laptop is entirely constructed of quickly renewable bamboo and compostable sugarcane fibers. Other freebies and stickers from Lenovo are also included in the package.
In terms of specifications, the limited edition ThinkPad is
as outstanding. Smooth scrolling is made possible by the 14-inch OLED screen's
2.8K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. For high color accuracy, the screen uses
the entire P3 color gamut. A 1080p webcam for video calls and Windows Hello
face unlocking is located in the top bezel.
It has an Intel Core i7-1260P processor inside, along with up
to 32 GB of LPDDR5 5200MHz RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. You receive a 57
Whr battery inside with 65W rapid charging capabilities and Intel Iris Xe
integrated graphics.
Four front-facing Dolby Atmos speakers and four Dolby
Voice-enabled 360-degree microphones are provided for audio.
Two USB C Thunderbolt 4 connectors, two USB A 3.2 ports, a
headphone/mic combo jack, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an optional Nano SIM card,
which is only offered with a few models, are among the ports.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Anniversary Edition will go on
sale in December for about $2,870, but it also comes in less expensive versions
that start at $1164.
