The Y36, Vivo's newest low-cost smartphone, has been announced and will shortly make its Indonesian debut. The Y35, which was released in August of last year, is replaced by this device.
It's interesting that the Y36 comes in two versions, one with 4G and one with 5G. However, as of right now, the only version available in Indonesia is the 4G version.
The chipset and the available colours are the main distinctions between the variations. The Snapdragon 680 chipset-powered 4G variant will be available in Glitter Aqua and Meteor Black hues.
The 5G version, which is available in the hues Crystal Green and Mystic Black, uses MediaTek's Dimensity 6020 chipset. Other than these improvements, only the specs have changed.
This smartphone has a large 6.64-inch "Ultra O" LCD with a 1080 x 2388 resolution. It includes a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor in its camera configuration, and its 16 MP front-facing camera produces beautiful selfies.
The Y36 offers a lot of storage capacity for your data with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of extendable storage. A 5,000 mAh battery within the smartphone powers 44W wired charging.
The Y36 integrates Vivo's Funtouch OS 13 for a seamless user experience while running Android 13. The phone weighs 202g and has measurements of 164.06 x 76.17 x 8.07 mm.
The 4G version of the Y36 is offered at a recommended retail price of $226. The pricing and availability of the 5G variant in other markets, however, are yet unknown.
