Realme GT Neo 5 SE Launched with 100W charging and SD 7+ Gen 2

The GT Neo 5 SE has been introduced by Realme in China after several weeks of teasing. There are three notable variances in the chipset, camera, and battery categories even if the normal GT Neo 5 and its variant share certain important specifications.

Display Configuration

The new gadget has a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 2772 x 1240-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Under the display, the fingerprint sensor is located, and the surrounding bezels are thin.

Although the huge rectangular model lacks a separate cutout for the main camera, it almost has the same appearance as the normal GT Neo 5.

Storage and Processor

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm, which supports up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, is featured in the GT Neo 5 SE. As the phone comes with 256 GB of internal storage as standard, there is no memory card slot for expanding the available capacity.

Software-wise, the gadget runs Android 13 on top of Realme UI 4.0.

Camera Department

The selfie camera, which is located inside the punch-hole cutout, has a resolution of 16MP and is accompanied by a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP microscope lens. While the selfie camera can only capture 1080p films, the main camera can record 4K footage at 30 frames per second.

The battery size and charging times are the other key changes between the GT Neo 5 and the SE variant, in addition to the chipset and camera. The GT Neo 5 features a 5,000 mAh battery cell, compared to the SE model's 5,500 mAh.

Nevertheless, compared to the normal GT Neo 5's 150W charging method, the SE charges at a slower 100W rate. The phone will start at $305 in China and be offered in Blue and Black colors.
