UET Lahore Fall Admissions 2023
Applications for the class of 2023 at the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore are now being accepted. For bachelor's degree programs that are ECAT- and non-ECAT-based, online applications are invited. The deadline to submit an application is Tuesday, May 2, 2023, and online registration has already begun. UET Lahore Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by applicants for admission to any of the university's bachelor's degree programs:
i. Excluding marks from sports and Hafiz-e-Quran, he should have received at least 60% in Intermediate/DAE or a comparable foreign qualifying test.
ii. He should have taken the entrance exam, which was held by this university for the academic year in which he seeks admission, and passed it by scoring at least a 33%. Because he will only be considered for admission in the specified disciplines relevant to his subject combination, his subject combination in the entrance test must match his intermediate (or similar) subject combination. DAE qualified individuals are exempt from this restriction.
iii. If an applicant wants to be considered for admission based on a B.Sc. in Engineering Technology or a degree of a similar caliber, he or she must have earned (or be expected to earn) at least 60% of the possible points under the annual system, or a 2.5 CGPA under the semester system.
iv. He must legitimately reside in the area from which he is applying for admission.
v. He must adhere to the physical and vision requirements listed in the medical certificate.
Instructions
1. An applicant can apply in at most three groups.
2. To be eligible for admission in:
• Group-1 (i.e., PEC accredited programs), the candidate must have scored at least 33% in ECAT 2023. A list of PEC-accredited programs is available on our admission portal, https://admission.uet.edu.pk.
• Group-2 (i.e., Programs accredited by councils, other than PEC), such as Architecture, City and Regional Planning Computer Science, Product and Industrial Design, and Software Engineering. The candidate must have appeared in ECAT 2023
• Group-3 (i.e., Programs that DO NOT require an ECAT) such as BS in (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science & Technology, Energy Systems, and Management), BBA, and BBIT.
3. For online submission of applications, if you are only applying in one of the three Groups, then kindly purchase an online token of Rs.2,000/- by visiting our admission portal. For each additional group, an applicant needs to pay an extra Rs.250/-. For example, if the applicant has already applied to Group-3 programs, has appeared, passed the ECAT, and is interested in applying to programs covered under Group-2 then he needs to pay only Rs.250/- extra. However, if he wants to apply to programs covered under Group-1 too then he needs to pay Rs.500/- extra. The instructions for purchasing an online token are available on the portal.

UET Lahore Online Application Procedure
You are responsible for entering accurate information while completing the online application. If admission is offered but intentionally withheld or misrepresented, it may be revoked, and the candidate would be added to the HEC blacklist through a public announcement and barred from applying to any HEC university.
1. Obtaining an online admission code
1.1 The Code is available online:
a) Visit https://admission.uet.edu.pk to access the admissions portal.
b) From the admission site, click the "Buy Online Token..." button.
c) Your name, the name of your father, and your CNIC number will need to be entered.
d) The creation of a challan number will be downloaded. You can use this number to pay the application fee online using one of the following methods:
1.2 Use the HBL/Konnect APP for payments
a) After logging in, select the "LIFESTYLE" button on the Konnect mobile application.
b) Choose "EDUCATION" from the menu.
3) Click "SCHOOL FEE."
c) Institutions will be listed. Enter the Challan Number and choose UET Lahore.
e) Make the payment after having your name confirmed.
f) From this point forward, your admission code may be used as the paid Challan Number.
1.3 Making a payment using HBL Online Banking (For HBL Account Holders only)
a) If you have access to an HBL account, sign in to the HBL online banking program on your computer or mobile device.
b) Click the "MORE" button.
c) Under the Bill Payment category,
choose "EDUCATION".
d) Institutions will be listed. Enter the Challan Number and choose UET Lahore.
e) Make the payment after having your name confirmed.
f) From this point forward, your admission code may be used as the paid Challan Number.
2. Guidelines
For Completely Fill Out The Online Application Form
a) By login into https://admission.uet.edu.pk, you can fill out the admission application.
b) The information listed below must be entered:
"Date of birth, CNIC number, entry test roll number, and verification code"
c) Your personal information that you provided already when submitting the Entrance Test Form will appear on the following screen.
d)
i. Input the name of the
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) and your registration number in the Matriculation examination and Intermediate Part-I examination if you are applying based on the Intermediate Part-I examination.
ii. Input your Part-I Intermediate score, both scored and total.
iii. Input your Matriculation exams obtained and overall marks.
e) Input the name of the Board of Technical Education and your registration number in the first and second-year DAE examinations if you are applying based on the DAE.
i. Input the name of the Board of Technical Education and your registration number in the first and second-year DAE examinations if you are applying based on the DAE examination.
ii. Put the name of your diploma in the field.
iii. Input your first-year DAE achieved and overall marks.
iv. Input your second-year DAE achieved and overall marks.
f)
i. Submit your candidate number in the "O" level examination if you are applying based on an "O" level or equivalent international examination.
ii. IBCC equivalency certificate number and date of issue must be entered (if available).
iii. Input your scores as they are listed on the IBCC equivalent certificate, both achieved and overall.
iv. You can enter your marks using IBCC formulas on the IBCC website if you do not have an IBCC equivalency certificate. Please take notice that admitted candidates will need to present the authentic IBCC equivalency certificate.
g)
i. Input the name of your
degree and the name of the university where you received your B.Sc. in Engineering Technology or an equivalent qualification.
ii. Type in your achieved and overall CGPA. You may enter your achieved and overall grades up until your seventh semester of study if you received percentage marks.
h) The following question is whether you are claiming to be a sportsperson or a hafiz-e-Qura'an. You will be able to print separate admit cards for the Hafiz-e-Qura'an and sportsperson examinations if you identify as either one or both. You must appear for the aforementioned exams on the days and at the locations indicated on your admit cards.
i) After that, select the categories, campuses, and programs that suit your choices.
j) When expressing preferences, extreme caution must be taken. Before completing the preferences, the following considerations must be made:
• Once selected and submitted, preferences for fields, campuses, and categories cannot be modified. The application will be canceled if it falls under an ineligible category.
• A applicant who has been
admitted to the discipline of lower preference cannot request to be frozen. On the following merit lists, the candidate will still be given consideration for promotion to his or her higher priority.
• Applicants should be aware that no applications for changing to a lower merit preference would be considered following the display of the merit list.
k) Muslim candidates will be required to check the box next to the statement about the finality of prophethood.
l) The following documents will be scanned and uploaded by you:
a. The relevant result you are applying on, such as your Intermediate Part-I result card, DAE first- and second-year results, "O" level/IBCC equivalent results, or your B.Tech. or similar transcript for seven semesters.
b. A certificate of domicile.
m) You will be required to submit your application after it has been finished. Your application is complete and entered into the university's records after it has been submitted. For your own records, you can print a copy.
