5 More Much Awaited WhatsApp New Features are Coming

 

WhatsApp is working on many upcoming WhatsApp Functions. This article includes primary and secondary WhatsApp new features tools, but all of them should improve convenience and quality of life. However, here are five new features coming to WhatsApp soon.

1. Self Chat

You can save critical texts, links, media, or other objects for easy access by sending texts to yourself in Telegram, Slack, and other chat apps. WhatsApp is now developing the feature for a future version. With this, you'll be able to message yourself from connected devices in addition to your primary smartphone. It is only available in WhatsApp's beta version, and it is uncertain how soon it will be introduced to the new update.

2. Call Timer

Since the call button is located next to the choices button on Android, we've all unintentionally called someone on WhatsApp option. Contrary to traditional cell phone calls, calls made using the app instantaneously connect to the other party, leaving no time for the caller to respond and hang up a mistaken call.

The WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo developed a concept feature to address this problem and stop such incidents. A call countdown may easily stop inadvertent calls by giving you three seconds prior to the call being placed, as seen in the screenshot above. The functionality needs to be optional, though, as it would annoy a lot of people. This is not a real tool that WhatsApp is developing; it is merely a concept feature from WABetaInfo.

3. Grocery Shopping

In India, WhatsApp recently added grocery delivery. As you may anticipate, you can choose the products you desire from WhatsApp and use the app to have them delivered to your house. Through this facility, payments can also be made.

Currently, it is only accessible in India, but given that WhatsApp is investigating similar capabilities in other nations, Pakistan may eventually get access to them as well. Since WhatsApp is already available in India, there is a good chance that it will also be made available here. This is especially likely given that we have many online grocery retailers. However, there are no indications in the beta versions of WhatsApp, and the company has not confirmed it for other countries either.

4. Privacy of Screenshots

Maintaining privacy is the sole goal of WhatsApp's "see once" communications. But if these messages can be quickly captured in screenshots and distributed to others, there is little use in sending them. Because of this, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, recently disclosed that WhatsApp will soon safeguard your view once communications from screenshots and other types of sharing. However, no launch date is yet in sight.

5. Search Improvements

In a chat, it can be difficult to search for particular messages. There are already many search filtering options available in WhatsApp, but this functionality will soon be extended even more. In a future update, the app will allow you to search for messages by date or community. You should be able to do this to quickly access communications from weeks, months, or even years past. It will be some time before this is accessible to everyone since it is only available in the WhatsApp beta for iOS.
